Why the curious name? The Heliport was once used as lodging for coal operators, who would land their helicopters on-site! As the influence of coal has waned in recent years, recreation is quickly taking root as a local economic driver. West Virginians have long been known for their hospitality, and we look forward to sharing ours with you.

Our 3,000 square foot helicopter hangar with sky-high ceilings provides an expansive area to securely park machines out of the elements, enjoy indoor basketball, pool table, shuffleboard, and ping pong, watch the rain fall, and let the kids run around. This area is exclusively for heliport guests.
